Ingredients:

8 medium-sized carrots 

1/4 cup of raw and organic honey 

3 to 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil 

Salt and ground black pepper

Directions:

-Get your oven preheated to 175°C — that’s equivalent to 350°F. 

-Thoroughly wash and scrub carrots to remove dirt. There is really no need to peel those carrots once they are clean. Besides, it’s in the peel where lots of nutrients that carrots contain can be found. 

-Chop up the carrots into halves or quarters — it’s completely up to you! 

-Place the carrots in a large baking dish and drizzle with olive oil. Give them a quick stir to make sure that they’re all covered. 

-Pour in the honey and then sprinkle a little salt and ground black pepper to taste. 

-Bake the carrots in the oven for about 40 to 45 minutes or until cooked according to your preference. 

-Allow to cool for a while and then transfer to a serving dish. Enjoy!
